My granddaughter who is 18 gave birth to a baby in Lousianna, the father has been mentally abusive to her they seperated and he continues to be mentally abusive to her. . She let him have the baby for a weekend to spend with his family and he would not give the little baby back to her . She went to the police and they said that they could not do anything it was a civil matter. She wants her baby it has been a week. Where does she turn for help???? She has no money for legal help She provides a home and food and daycare for her son. where can she turn for help. thank you She lives in Eunice La. Oh did I mention the police in that town are friends of his.
