Trying to get in touch with an attorney?

All Legal Aid offices are open Monday through Friday.

If you want to apply for our free legal services, phone the office nearest you.

When you call, you will not talk to an attorney initially. Instead, you will speak with an intake person who will ask you about your income, citizenship status and the nature of your legal problem to determine whether you are eligible for our services and whether we can help you. (Click here at eligibility to review our income guidelines.)

Once we determine you are eligible for our services, we will either schedule an appointment for you or refer you to a volunteer attorney or give you advice or educational materials to help you.

If you have a communications disability, contact us through the Ohio Relay Service at 711 or 1-800-750-0750. If you have some other handicap, call the office in your county for help. Interpretation services are available through Language Line for non-English speakers in all offices.
