Scholarship

FreeLegalAid.com is pleased to offer the following scholarship opportunity:

Each year FreeLegalAid.com will award one (1) scholarship of $500.00 to a student who will be attending a four-year college in the United States.  The scholarship will be awarded to an outstanding individual who we feel best responds to the following prompts:

1. In the U.S. we have become a nation of lawyers who make laws that they themselves do not have to live with, abide by, or deal with the cost and consequences of enforcement.  With so many laws and an ever increasing and complicated legal system, every American breaks some law every day, even without knowing it.  What can we do about this problem?  Address this question in 500 words or less.

2. In 200 words or less, describe why you believe that you are an outstanding person who should receive our scholarship.

Requirements:

The scholarship is open to any individual who will be attending an accredited four-year college or university in the United States full time in the following academic year.  Decisions for each year are made by April 30 for the upcoming Fall school year.  Upon award, verification of college acceptance and attendance will be made.  Funds will be paid only to the school, and not to the individual.

Send your response to prompts 1 and 2 on ONE document in Word format, via email to: scholarship@freelegalaid.com.  At the top of the page include the following:
