The best way for you to find

The best way for you to find out if divorce papers were filed is to go to a courhouse near you. When you arrive ask for access to a computer to see records from the OCA (office of court administration). You will be able to search using your name. You will be able to find out if there are any cases filed in the court system with you filed as a litigant. Hoping this helps.

The only way to do that is to

The only way to do that is to go to a courthouse in new york state, ask for access to a computer there with a connection to the OCA (office of court administration) website. There, you will be able to enter your name and do a computer search for all cases in the system with your name as someone who is a party to the action. Hoping this helps.
