The Association of Divorce Financial Planners, a professional association of Certified Divorce Financial Analysts (CDFA), Certified Financial Divorce Practitioners (CFDP), Financial Divorce Specialists (FDS) and collaborative divorce financial specialists, seeks to heighten awareness about the benefits of divorce financial planning, so that it will become an integral part of the divorce process, and to make it easier for parties and attorneys to find a financial planner experienced in the specific issues associated with the division of assets upon divorce or separation.
