Arizona’s military operations are increasingly important to the state’s economy, creating and supporting tens of thousands of jobs and generating more than $9 billion in revenue, according to a new study. The Legal Arizona Workers Act, sometimes called the "Employer Sanctions Law," went into effect on January 1, 2008.
