DavidsonWilliamsonOur address: 300 Deaderick Street Nashville, TN 37201
Please call us at 615-244-6610 before you come in. Or you can call 1-800-238-1443. It’s a free call. You may not have to come to our office. We may be able to help by phone or mail. Or we may be able to come to the county where you live. The front desk will take your name and number. We will call you back in 5 to 7 days.
We are open from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
We only take legal problems that you yourself can’t go to jail for. If you have a criminal case, you need to call the Public Defender’s office.
We take as many cases as we can. We are sorry we don’t have enough lawyers for everyone. What if we can’t take your case? We still may be able to give you one-time legal advice. Or tell you where else you can get help. We also have booklets on this website. http://www.las.org/booklets/(link is external)

Free, Easy Online Application for Legal Aid of East Tennessee
This free program lets you apply for help from Legal Aid of East Tennessee (LAET). We help low-income East Tennesseans, seniors, and persons with disabilities with legal issues. We do not help with criminal cases. If you’ve been charged with a crime, ask for a public defender.
This program works by asking you questions (which may take up to 30 minutes), then sending your answers to Legal Aid. After you speak with a client intake specialist, we may schedule an appointment with you, give you advice or educational materials, or we may refer you to another organization.
