Judge Rules Ban on Corporate Campaign Contributions Unconstitutional

 

The Citizens United ruling struck down limits on corporate campaign spending on things like third-party issue advertisements.

 

However, yesterday a federal judge in Virginia ruled that the ban on companies contributing directly to federal candidates is unconstitutional.
