There’s no shortage of places to find free legal aid in Columbus.

The Legal Aid Society of Columbus

The Legal Aid Society of Columbus is a non-profit law firm that seeks to empower low-income residents and senior citizens of Columbus. Their areas of expertise include, but are not limited to, the loss or denial of public benefits, Medicare/Medicaid, domestic violence, child custody, unemployment compensation, and evictions and foreclosures.

Southeastern Ohio Legal Services

Southeastern Ohio Legal Services (SEOLS) is a government-funded organization that gives legal help without attorney fees to those with low income or limited assets. These include cases involving tax or healthcare issues, family problems, and many more.
