Once you have confirmed your name is available, you can fill out the Application for Reservation of Legal Entity Name (http://www.sos.idaho.gov/CORP/acro4/name_reservation.pdf) and submit it with the $20.00 filing fee to: Idaho Secretary of State, 450 N. 4th Street, P.O. Box 83720, Boise, ID 83720-0080. Your name will be reserved for a period of four months. An expedited service is also available for an additional fee of $20.00


After your company name has been established, you can begin filling out and submitting your Certificate of Organization Limited Liability Company. All forms are available on the Business Entity Forms, Limited Liability Company Forms Web site (http://www.sos.idaho.gov/corp/llcform.htm), which has an option of printable or fillable forms. The fillable Certificate of Organization Limited Liability Company form is available here: http://www.sos.idaho.gov/corp/acro4/cert_org_llc.pdf where you can easily type in your information and print it. Idaho has a specific policy on forms being typed. If the application is typed, the filing fee is $100.00, if it is not types, the fee is $120.00. Expedited services are available for an additional $20.00. Once you fill out your application, you can submit it, and your fees to: Office of the Secretary of State, 450 N. 4th Street, P.O. Box 83720, Boise, ID 83720-0080. The fees can be paid via check or money orders, made payable to the Idaho Secretary of State.

You will received an Annual Report Due card in the mail when it is time to file. Annual reports can be filed via mail or online. Once you receive your card in the mail you can visit the Online Annual Reporting site and begin the process.
