Pro Se – What to say to the judge when you’re in court for divorce

When your last name is called, go up to the Bench in front of the Judge and hand him/her a copy of your Divorce Decree

"Your Honor, my name is , I am the Petitioner in this case. I am representing myself In Court today. "
I have been a resident and domiciliary of Dallas County for 6 months preceding the filing of this divorce case, "
"The Respondent and I were married on [DATE], and we separated and ceased to live together on or about [DATE]. "
"The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities between the parties that has destroyed the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship. There is no expectation of reconciliation"
